Doune Castle is a Medieval courtyard castle castle in Doune, Stirling, Scotland, and a filming location for Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), Outlander (2014-) and Game of Thrones (2011-2019) among other productions. Dating to the late 14th century, it was designed by Robert Stewart, Duke of Albany. It is owned by Historic Environment Scotland.
