Hohenwerfen Castle is a medieval rock castle castle in Werfen, Salzburg, Austria, and a filming location for Where Eagles Dare (1968), The Sound of Music (1965) and The Man in the High Castle (2015-2019) among other productions. Built in 1077, it was designed by Archbishop Gebhard of Salzburg. It is owned by State of Salzburg. It has also been depicted in video games.
